Peter Lane

Peter Lane is a New York based ceramic artist with a wide oeuvre, from decorative tableware to monumental furniture and architectural wall installations. Lane often uses colorful glazes based on metals which give his ceramics a uniquely metallic look. With a detailed knowledge of clay, he is able to adjust his methods with each project.

Lane’s adaptability has made him a master ceramicist, partnering with designers such as Chahan Minassian, and Peter Marino. Lane’s work can be found in galleries, private collections, and museums across the globe. He has shown in Los Angeles’ Gray Gallery, Jeff Lincoln Art + Design in Southampton, and participated in a show at the Bass Museum of Art in Miami. Since 2009, Peter Lane has had a piece in the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
